The introductory dive is not a diving course with a certificate. Rather, it is a get-to-know-you program for those who want to learn more about diving than an introductory dive in the pool of your resort.
The program is divided into two blocks. The first block consists of important theoretical fundamentals of diving and a number of practical skills that we train in the pool.
The second block is 2 dives in the open sea on a shallow reef up to 12m with great corals and lots of fish to admire.
After the course there is the possibility to continue diving with us during your stay up to a maximum depth of 12m or to take the next step, the training to become a Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver.
The Scuba Diver course is the first certified diving program. The course lasts 2 days and consists of 3 units of theory, 3 units in the pool and 2 open water dives with exercises.
You can prepare the theory in advance at home, so that you can concentrate more on the practical part of pool and open water dives on site.
After the course you will receive your diving card which entitles you to dive up to 12m accompanied by a diving instructor.
With an additional day you can upgrade the course to an Open Water Diver.
The upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver usually takes 2 days. The course consists of 2 units of theory, 2 units in the pool and 2 open water dives with exercises. The crowning glory is the written exam at the end.
You should still have the training material from your Scuba Diver course. Therefore, you can deal intensively with the theory before the course. This allows you to concentrate on the essentials on site and not sit in the hotel and work on your diving course.
The Referral Open Water Diver course is only the open water dives of the Open Water Diver course. This option is for student divers who have already completed theory and pool at home and only want to concentrate on diving while on vacation.
The Referral Open Water Diver lasts 2 days and consists of a discussion of the open water exercises and the 4 open water dives.
After the course you will receive a diving card that entitles you to dive up to 18m accompanied by another certified diver.
Many divers feel very good and safe after the course and want to learn more. In that case there is the possibility to continue with the Advanced Open Water Diver.
